Sensing The City
A soundscape was created by collecting natural and man-made sounds at the Thames in Greenwich. The waves are a representation of the sound of nature, created by wind and passing boats. The man-made sounds were perceived as interruptions to the sounds of nature. The most dominant man-made sounds were visualised as glitches on the river waves to represent the interruptions. A 3-minute film was created using the glitches and soundspace which has been turned into an augmented reality experience
